Annual Festivals in Alexander County

Alexander County hosts numerous festivals and special events each year.

• RockyFest is typically held on the third Saturday in April at Rocky Face Mountain Recreational Area.

• The Taylorsville Apple Blossom Festival is the first Saturday in May in downtown Taylorsville.

• The Alexander County Summer Concert Series features concerts in May, July, and September at Courthouse Park.

• The Vertical Mile Challenge Trail Race is the fourth Saturday in June each year at Rocky Face Mountain Recreational Area.

• Alexander County hosts an Independence Celebration in mid-July each year.

• The Taylorsville Apple Festival is the third Saturday of October every year in downtown Taylorsville.

• The Alexander County Christmas Parade is held on the first Saturday of December every year in downtown Taylorsville.
